Position Overview:

Our client seeks a skilled Quality Engineer to join their team at Westcott Venture Park,
Buckinghamshire, supporting the design, manufacturing, and testing of space vehicle
products like rocket engines and thrusters. This role is key to ensuring product quality
and customer satisfaction while helping position quality as a core focus for business
growth.

Key Responsibilities:

● Review customer requirements and generate compliance statements at bid and contract phases.
● Monitor hardware progress to meet customer expectations.
● Manage and generate customer deliverable documentation.
● Represent the company at customer-facing reviews (MPCB, MRR, TRR, DRB).
● Resolve supplier non-conformances and ensure quality specifications are met.
● Review manufacturing and test data for compliance and completeness.
● Create End Item Data Packs (EIDPs) and support auditing for AS9100 compliance.
● Collaborate with HSE to integrate health and safety requirements with quality processes.

Qualifications:

● Degree/HND in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
● Quality Engineering background, ideally in the space industry.
● Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 and technical documentation.
● Experience in quality management techniques and audit processes.
● Proficiency in MS Office and interpreting technical drawings.
● Strong communication skills and a commitment to safe working practices.
