Position Overview:

Our client seeks a highly skilled individual to join their Engineering team. The role will be
leading and owning some of their key products. The role involves, where necessary,
bringing products up to a production standard both from design, manufacturing,
assembly and test perspective as well as a supporting documentation perspective. Then
ultimately the role involves providing the engineering support to a product for the
programmes you are assigned to. The role will work closely with all functional teams to
provide a seamless interface into the project in order to provide consistent and timely
delivery of tasks and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

● Acting as the primary technical liaison and providing engineering support to customers and internal teams.
● Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers to improve project efficiency and profitability.
● Reviewing and addressing engineering tasks, cost reduction, yield improvement, and capacity increases.
● Preparing and coordinating documentation for project milestones (e.g., EQSR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
● Reviewing and approving product manufacturing and build data.
● Generating and maintaining product requirements, ATPs, logbooks, and test data.
● Managing and updating product test data at various levels for trend analysis.

Qualifications:

● BSc/MSc degree in Engineering or Physical Science (preferably with Space
Sector experience).
● Strong knowledge of project management tools and processes.
● Solid technical understanding of products.
● Exceptional stakeholder engagement and team motivation skills.
● Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
● Proactive, pragmatic, and independent mindset.
● Experience in project-led design and development environments (desirable).
● Highly organised with strong time and project management abilities.
