Position Overview:
Our client seeks a Systems Engineer for Instruments to act as the primary focal point for Validation and Verification (V&V) activities within aerospace projects. This role involves defining V&V plans, managing test specifications, and overseeing verification activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the Validation and Verification Plan.
- Create and manage the Verification Control Document.
- Organize and participate in verification control boards.
- Manage verification activities in IBM DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
- Actively participate in project reviews, including progress meetings.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in V&V, systems engineering, or AIT, preferably in aerospace.
- Strong understanding of the engineering project lifecycle.
- Excellent organizational and self-management skills.
- Strong communication abilities, fluent in English (written and spoken).
