Position Overview:

Our client seeks a skilled Test Specialist for Communication Systems to develop and execute test cases for communication technology, network technology, and OT security applications in station control technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify and derive test cases methodically according to ISTQB standards.
  • Create test specifications and procedures at both segment and system levels.
  • Conduct technical reviews as part of the testing process.
  • Execute tests, document results, and validate the functionality of developed procedures.
  • Analyze and document errors using the error management tool.
  • Plan and independently carry out regression tests.
  • Generate and maintain test documentation and other technical materials within the process landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, IT security, communication technology, or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience.
  • Practical experience in software testing and system integration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems (Linux) and network technologies (TCP/IP).
  • ISTQB Advanced Level certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages is desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Initiative-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Strong technological understanding and a hands-on mentality.
  • Occasional travel may be required for system commissioning on-site.
  • Very good German and good English skills (spoken and written) are essential.
