Position Overview:

Our client seeks a dedicated Control Technology Project Manager to serve as the central point of contact for customers in the infrastructure sector regarding control technology. You will be responsible for ensuring timely project execution while maintaining a strong focus on IT/OT security within operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for customers, emphasizing the importance of IT/OT security in control technology.
  • Coordinate the project team, monitor progress, and manage project costs.
  • Advise customers on technical matters and collaboratively develop innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of IT/OT security and secondary technical standards.
  • Assist in standardizing testing procedures and documentation to enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • Configure and parameterize control technology components, conducting functional tests and commissioning as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Completed training in electrical engineering, energy technology, automation technology, or mechatronics (technician or engineer).
  • Knowledge of project management principles, with familiarity in (railway) power grids, control technology, and IT/OT security.
  • Relevant experience in the above areas.
  • Open, independent, and confident demeanor with strong assertiveness.
  • Excellent teamwork, flexibility, commitment, and resilience, with strong communication skills in German (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in software tools like Atlassian Confluence and MS360.
  • Willingness to travel for customer assignments (for several days) and possession of a Class B driver’s license.
