Position Overview:

Our client seeks a Senior Product Assurance Engineer to play a pivotal role within the assurance team, offering significant autonomy and responsibility in providing technical expertise and mentoring team members.This role encompasses the entire assurance lifecycle, from conceptual design through to maintenance, ensuring the quality and reliability of spacecraft systems and subsystems. You will interface extensively with suppliers, subsystems, and ground segment assurance, actively participating in audits and supporting ongoing management activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Product and Quality Assurance activities across multiple projects.
  • Interface with Customers’ PA and QA representatives, ensuring compliance and satisfaction.
  • Support Supplier and Subcontractor PA and QA activities, including audits and ongoing management.
  • Review materials, parts, and processes against technical requirements, generating necessary documentation.
  • Witness manufacturing and testing activities, providing critical input as required.
  • Maintain quality control data and records, supporting the development of the QMS.
  • Assist the Business Development team in preparing assurance aspects of proposals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Assurance and/or Quality Assurance, preferably in Space or Aerospace sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead functional groups and manage associated assurance requirements effectively.
  • Strong management and technical skills in high-quality system products.
  • Pragmatic and logical approach to problem-solving, with flexibility to adapt to changing plans and schedules.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Exceptional technical English written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience as a QMS Internal Auditor or third-party reviewer.
  • Background in Ground segment product assurance or Software Product assurance.
