Established in the mid-2010s, our client is rapidly scaling their most valuable resource—their team—to further advance this ambitious vision.
Position Overview:
Our client seeks a Chief of Staff (CoS) to partner closely with the CEO in driving the organization from its pre-revenue phase to sustainable growth. This role is pivotal in enhancing leadership effectiveness, fostering a culture of innovation, and establishing key systems to achieve operational excellence. The CoS will support executive functions, manage transformative changes, and ensure strategic objectives are met, solidifying a strong market position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on leadership matters to foster growth and alignment with the company’s strategic needs and culture.
- Develop and support the executive team, ensuring they possess the skills and acumen for executing the strategy, and assist in talent acquisition that aligns with these goals.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement that drives organizational success.
- Drive scalability by implementing agile processes, tools, and systems to optimize functions, strengthen governance, and support long-term growth.
- Support the CEO in crafting investor pitches, engaging potential investors, and managing due diligence, effectively communicating the strategic roadmap and risk mitigation plans.
- Lead internal communications to ensure employees are well-informed on strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and departmental leaders to align and integrate efforts across functions.
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to track progress, holding leadership accountable for commitments and measurable results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles within high-growth or startup environments.
- Proven experience supporting executive leadership, with expertise in organizational change, operational strategy, and program management.
- .Strong decision-making, strategic planning, and guidance skills for executive and leadership teams.
- Expertise in scaling systems, resource allocation, and budget management to support growth.
- Skilled in leading complex projects, aligning cross-functional teams, and managing cultural change.
