Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Sales, this position involves leading and securing new export business activities, bridging the Sales team with internal engineering and delivery teams. The responsibilities include overseeing business development opportunities aligned with strategic goals, reviewing potential opportunities, guiding opportunities from contact to contract, ensuring profitable contract delivery, attending project reviews, leading negotiation activities, supporting customer-facing discussions, and participating in industry groups.
Requirements for the role:
- Experience in the space/aerospace/satellite engineering industry with international customers
- Demonstrated skills in technical and business management, project management, or business development
- Customer interfacing experience
- Preferred experience with missions at programmatic and/or technical levels
- Degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective influencer and negotiator
- Commercial acumen, aligning customer needs with company capabilities and strategic direction
- Ability to strategize and coordinate across functional teams
- Strong customer presentation and engagement skills
- Organized, proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated
