As a talented Project Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for all procurement-related activities within a core project team. You will also be involved in initiating, coordinating, implementing and monitoring all procurement activities of equipment and subsystems for a specific satellite project.
In your first few weeks in this project procurement management role, you can expect to:
- Select suitable suppliers and subcontractors in direct negotiation, restricted or open competition
- Guide a team of subcontract managers working on your satellite project
- Establish tender documentation (RFPs, ITTs, draft contracts, etc.), organise and manage tender evaluation
- Board with and without the customer's participation and provide support in preparing ATPs, LOLs, Preliminary Order Letters, etc.

You will also require several years of project management experience with an emphasis on financial and contract management, preferably in the space industry.
